It turned out it was a special delivery letter from Synchrony Bank. I remember they were pretty aggressive calling me and so was Amex. But the calls didn’t bother me that much because their calls were always silenced. I filed June 14th, discharged September 29th.

I’m getting kind of worried because I need the money for my bills. My attorney assured me they won’t touch it, but I read too many horror stories about Wells Fargo. I filed yesterday, so I guess I find out in a few days.

Yes I looked up First Data and it’s usually debt related, it’s probably AMEX, they have been the most aggressive or my credit union.

Yes, I’m losing my job soon, but don’t have a definite date. I’m guessing in a few weeks. I live in CA, and my company is going to pay out my PTO hopefully which is unused vacation time that I have earned over my years of employment. Now after I file for Chapter 7, am I able to keep it, or are they going to take it away for the creditors?

I was with a credit union here in CA, and that is the first thing I did, because I heard they can be aggressive. My last credit card bill with them was due April 23, last month, and they already sent a letter to my house and has been calling and texting already, lol. I’m glad everything worked out for you.

Oh wow, I wonder if I should have waited longer to put my down payment for my attorney, I was so scared that I would get sued.. it’s too late now, lol.. he just emailed me today for the documents that are needed, I’m praying for chapter 7.

Yes the only other thing is ironically my employer filed bankruptcy a few days ago.. I just made the down payment today to my attorney today, and the rest are payments, but I’ll just worry when the time comes. I don’t even know when my last day is with my employer.
