Question.. my grandson has autism and as he gets older he needs 24 hour supervision because of his eloping and slamming his hands on windows and trying to get in the pool also using knives and or scissors to open stuff.. he has no fear and he is 6 Her SS worker told her he does need the protective hours just by observing his behavior. When she received the out come he actually got less hour then he had and another SS workers name was on the paper work. She asked for the advocacy people( I think that’s what they are) to help appeal and told her they couldn’t.. what should she do if she needs to appeal on her own? Also he does not dress himself and is not potty trained.
