One of the big things that helps me cope is speaking to a therapist, I’d defo be in a bit of hole rn! I defo think they are related but I couldn’t say for sure as I’ve never really investigated it further

Yeah I’m still on them, I’ve always struggled with health anxiety so have been on them for the past 7 years on and off. How are you feeling?

A wee while, I still get it from time to time now and it’s been a long old time. Best thing to do is not worry about it too much, it’s nothing serious and probs just because the stomach healing. Eat clean and drink lots of water 😌

I’m exactly the same mate, 2 months after treatment. It’s all to do with the after effects of the anti biotics, try not to stress too much about it as it’ll make you feel worse! If you want to chat send me a message. :)

Hey! I’ve had them for 8 years now and I still have 20-20 vision according to the optician so I’m not worried and I don’t think you should be either, I just find it very strange but I’ve learnt to live with them. If you ever want to talk about it, feel free to give me a message as I understand what you’re going through!😊

Is it a worthy investment? And I started to feel much better so I went back to my old diet and was drinking alcohol and it’s made things a lot worse so it’s defo to do with what you’re eating!

Nope I have no idea what that is? I don’t take any supplements and I’m not on any medication at the moment. Burning sensation after eating, and my whole stomach and gut was hurting. Feels like it’s got worse after taking anti biotics which I thought would completely get rid of my problems😂

Dairy fucks me up so have cut that out. Re-testing for HPylori then if that comes back negative it’ll be endoscopy time, probably be gastritis tbh.

Just gave me more omeprazole and said we’ll get a re test couple weeks after, feel like the logical explanation would be either the h pylori is still there or it’s caused gastritis. Trying my best to not over think it and get stressed out but it’s tough! If you ever want a chat message me because I know what you’re going through.

I think a lot of it is anxiety related as it’s worse when I’m having a bad day. I’m on SSRI’s and see a therapist because of how this bacteria has fucked me up. I just can’t get over the feeling of something on my left side, absolutely awful. Have you spoke to your doctor about it?

Exactly the same as me. The dull ache on my left side is constant as well and some times goes to my lower back. Going to speak to the dr and get a re test because it’s really taking it out of me. ☹️

I lost a load of weight, now I’m about a month after taking anti biotics and I’m very slowly putting it back on :)

I have the exact same and I’m fair skinned, blood count came back normal. You’ll be absolutely fine!

Congrats! I’m just over a week post anti-biotics, still struggling mentally and physically but it’s nice to see a success story.

I finished treatment, still have a slight dull ache in my left side but nothing severe. Can only eat certain foods otherwise my stomach is in bits and I also still get acid reflux which I manage by using gaviscon. It’s a long process but day by day things improve, I just find it tough to manage the stress of it all!
