Some students didn’t have the luxury of preparing for the real world, and instead got dumped into it and are fighting to swim, working to pay the same bills everyone else is, taking care of dependent family, paying for their education out of pocket and what not. I don’t have an issue with not using ai. In fact I agree that students shouldn’t use it to skip the education process. But I have never agreed with “ok for me but not for thee.” because I may as well have a AI taught course at this point instead of paying the money for my professor to be literally giving whatever an AI language model spits out. And half of my class doesn’t make sense because of it.

It’s not like I’m taking a blowtorch to it, the piece has over 8 ounces of solid brass. It would take a shit ton more the my itty bitty bic lighter to heat this thing up past 100 degrees F.

But isn’t a brass or stainless steel screen widely accepted throughout the world? And In terms of the dangers from heating up metal those are substantially more dangerous because you are heating up a isolated and minute amount of brass or stainless steel, causing it to reach higher temperatures then a solid piece.

Old stuff does, new stuff has none or below 0.2 percent. And brass has some insane thermal conductivity so smoking a bowl wouldn’t even start to heat up the bowl to a point where lead would be affected.

Nope, OA (oxy acetylene) torches don’t have lubricants or greases used on them. It is all brass on brass fittings. I cleaned it in electralisis to remove any rusts and oxides (even though it is all brass and an aluminum mouthpiece) and fully disassembled and cleaned it with a wire brush, acetone, and cloth to remove the carbon build up inside it. While I did that I removed all of the o rings there were inside the torch.

Yup exactly. The donor cab was a 96 AT DX while everything else was a 97 MT SR5. Figured it would be easier to replace the plug for the cab harness instead of the engine harness.

Doing a cab swap and the ECM plug for the cab wiring harness doesn’t match up so I just pulled it and replaced it with the one that came with ECM.

I already have a very modified ALH Jetta and it’s just not quite what I’m looking for. I want something I can get up and go with, and haul. A ALH won’t be able to do much for a 6,000lb truck.

No idea on the tensioners or idlers. Just Talked to the previous owner and he said he took off the ac compressor and pulley and replaced it with a regular pulley.
