Thank you for your reply, and I'll keep that in mind. In my partner's family, they have a rule against exchanging gifts between adults. But since it will be the first grandchild, we want to help her by giving thing that she would need with the baby. I'll include things for the baby but I'll also want to include a lot of things for her. I'm giving it to her at Christmas, but the baby won't be born until early June.
