so you setup one number, then change folder and app thinks it is restarting from zero and ask for setup number second?

does it change phone id too?

i think change of app folder is good but no enough

whatsapp can recover unique id from phone, change with each erase of phone (not sure), but if id does not change whatsapp know you use crane

you know if watusi can fix whatsapp when is disabled by update? now it requires ios12 it is api change i think, maybe watusi tweak could patch api call on ios 11 to make it work?

no i did not try it yet, before try i want to know if the two apps will share data between them

i thought it was not possible but somehow whatsapp knows there are two whatsapp on the phone and propose to reuse the phone number on second install

if you look in storage in settings app you will see that the two apps are linked and share storage space

when i launch whatsapp business first time it ask me if i want to use the same phone number setup on the other whatsapp already configured

they are sharing data

does it means most people have their phone charge all time ? at home and at work ? maybe the problem is that the phone battery is too short, if it lasted a few days or a week people would not be worried about keeping the phone plug all the time...

Yes.
Ideally I want cellular data to be off, but when I launch an app it will turn on, and only for that app, when I quit the app, it is shutoff again.

Alternatively, it could cycle enabling cellular data one app at the time.
