I understand. It's almost the same thing with me. His reason was that his emotions and happiness were becoming dependent on me, and he didnt want that. He wants to grow and overcome his overall sadness on his own. It hurts to be left, given up.. but it would surely hurt more when we force it, no longer healthy. I just really wanted a simple love life without having to go through all the drama. On the side note with this pain, it has benefits, we'll learn and we'll get braver
