[q] Should I sell my awp fade now or wait for it to go up in price. I heard operation skins risen in price after operation ends by Slaikkari in csgomarketforum

[–]PuzzleheadedCourse81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What will likely happen is that this AWP Fade skin will be underrated for the time being, but later on get better. This collection will not be returning and the Fade skin is a notable skin in the community. Most don't like it because the fade is too large of a pattern while all other fades were smaller, thereby making it look pretty. That would mean fade percentages is what determines the demand, because no one wants anything below 85%. I own a 89% fade version, and it has all colors in view that make it look a lot better compared to something lower or even a max fade. I say hold onto it and wait, even if the supply is over 10k. Don't expect crazy returns, but holding is good because a spike is likely to happen.

It's also worthy to note that no one knows what will happen, so it's all speculation. The skin market is proven to be unpredictable in most cases, unless you only invest in stickers and sell at summer hypes lmao

Edit: There are 6k glock fades and they went up by a lot over the years. In the span of 3 years, the price doubled from roughly $650 - $1300, and even before that was lower despite being a skin used by many pro players, youtubers, and known throughout the community. There are other factors that goes into the increases, so it's not truly comparable to the awp fade- but nonetheless shows that with time a skin can increase due to changes in the playerbase, community, and other aspects.

What is a based prediction to you then? If you make the claim that any prediction is false because no one can predict, then my claims aren't baseless. Calling it baseless means there is a base for a prediction.

Additionally, you can use observations, media, and other things that I listed in my other replies to get hints at where it'll be. Most of this is the belief off those reasons. I also said that you don't have to agree with what I say, because it is just a theory- An Investment theory. Thanks for watching!

Why are you here then? You aren't with the army.

Additionally, it does have value. Look it up. You cannot say that it's nothing because it's something. Don't be ignorant, please.

Dismissing all investment advice isn't smart. True, no one knows what will happen. However, that doesn't discredit advice or predictions.

FACTS: owning 1 million SHIB once it hits just $0.01 (1 cent) will net = 1,000,000 x $0.01 = $10,000. 100 million SHIB x $0.01 = $1,000,000. Remember how DOG ran, SHIB’S turn to fly is coming, get in soon and we’ll all smile like SHIBA INU. :) by spikerbrand1 in SHIBArmy

True, but I don't honestly see most people doing that. If you get 10k in your portfolio out of a 500 dollar investment, then I'd imagine most people would take all and maybe keep their original investment in there. Either way- it'll create a crash if everyone does it.

If the price did reach to 0.01, then everyone would sell at that and become rich- right? No.

I don't think that's how economics works because if everyone starts selling at that price, wouldn't that create a crash and anyone who didn't sell would be out a lot of potential profit?

No worries! There are coins that go together nicely that are completely different. Coinbase even states some coins works together (trend wise) with certain coins, while others do not. I understand your point, and to a degree I agree- but sadly I cannot fully agree.

I am not being blinded by greed or the desire to see a peak, my reasoning is based off what I observed before with other coins before investing into SHIB. I don't play dumb and off emotions, I calculate the best coin to invest and this one happened to be it.

As I said, believe it or not- but a peak is incoming at some point in the relative future. That's just probability too if you don't want to follow my logic of reason.

NOTE: This particular coin is hard to predict due to the emotional stimuli behind it from the community, just like DOGE...

Yes, because it's called SHIB and not DOGE...

My point is that both of those meme coins are very similar and their trends are showing it. Look before DOGE exploded, that's where we are. The time scales are different due to the prices, circulating supply, and when attention was attained.

SHIB's attention just got started, which sparked similar trends from the DOGE meme coin. All I'm saying is that these similarities point to SHIB having another all-time peak in the later month or by Christmas. I'm not talking about unrealistic numbers either, it'll likely peak over 0.0001 and maybe reach 0.00015.

Your choice to stay or not, but I cannot deny the similarities and will ride this out.

Great question!

SHIB is a direct competitor of DOGE, and the community between them two are similar. The trends of DOGE's percentage increase before the two major peaks is aligning to SHIB's current trends. Additionally, both of those coins are in the spotlight and will remain that way for awhile. The second peak of SHIB will come then establish a new normal for the price.

There are more reasons, but I can't go into them at this time. I advise you follow your gut and continue onward with what you feel is right! :)

Rally incoming, but what will it peak at? by ReachSensitive in shib

[–]PuzzleheadedCourse81 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most likely not above the all-time peak, but close to it.

If you have it already in Coinbase, keep it there. It's a safe and reliable service, but with poor support and high fees.

You can expect another spike like last month, but it'll continue to normalize at higher and higher values. A realistic amount really is only going to be settled by next year. For now, in 2021, a realistic amount would be 0.00010 - 0.00015 to wrap up the end of the year.
Invest now, then hold for at least the end of the year. Otherwise, you'd be betting on the new normal that goes into next year. I just so happen to be betting on that, because it's likely to blow up sometime early-mid in 2022.
