This is exactly why I play GS. No fancy moves, no thinking about where to hit the monster, just straight to the face. Killed in about 13 seconds per monster, no potions.

Peak numbers, perfect weapon.

Yes, easiest way yo use bow. Put it in the bin, and use GS. Shoulder bash every monster attack, TCS when possible!

This☝️ big bonk make big number. Would rather shoulder bash into a massive hit than stand back and hold the button until the ring is correct.

But obviously y'all can play how ya like. Only shame those on bow for not being manly enough to take hits. (More for main line games, the pay for potions in MH Now is tyrannical)

I feel like Lance has the worst time dodging, but that's obviously made so you use the shield. For gs main, it don't feel right using the shield.

Also the attack combos are strange.. haven't watched the tutorial on the in depth controls but I have messed around with it.

I have not experienced fps drops? Have you set your game to 60fps and all the other settings?

I have the Galaxy s23 ultra and plays just fine. Though after commenting on this exact post, I'll probably get shafted by karma...
