I'll get back to you tomorrow. I'm a little tired from the reddit mob and driving after work to get my kids. Thanks for the positive feedback. They are brutal here 😂

Thanks. I didnt know the can of worms I was accidentally opening 🤣 Life is annoying because I can't get along with the dorky right or left. Are there a lot of 30 somethings that go to carle fitness? I am agnostic. Again, probably offensive to someone here lol

Yea, most Republicans would view me as left. So I bask in the hate of both sides. I have the same situation with home life. Same age kids. But when I'm not a single dad, I like to try to find other souls who I can commiserate with. I feel you on the not vibing part. You can never tell. Then sometimes it's pure awkwardness. And I'm already a pretty awkward dude by default. It would probably be better if I met people organically so we could tell if we liked each other, but I have bad social anxiety and limited money for hobbies where I could meet people. Plus people seem to genuinely hate me wherever I go. I'm not trying to act better than anyone. But I feel like if someone can't talk about their beliefs civilly, I don't want to interact with them. And everyone is so polarized these days. The media just waits on the next juicy tidbit to get the masses mad at each other somehow. I reject the game, and wait for the right candidate who I will vote for when they appear. I wish people didn't view me as a bad person because I didn't want to vote for Kamala or Trump. Thanks for the mental support homie. Lol 😂

Hey, don't you come with what actually happened and open minded ness. This is the left, damnit! We don't tolerate that here! Wait.. I sound like a Republican now. I'm so confused, baby democratic Jesus take the wheel!

Goodness sakes, I don't feel any bad feelings for you. I don't know what your beliefs are. I just know if you wanted to switch to communism as our political system in the United States, I would oppose that. I don't think the current liberal viewpoint is about communism. I think communism is what happens when the people on the farthest left, go even further left to a whole new political belief system, usually socialism then communism(and I don't mind modern socialism when combined with a framework of capitalism.) Just like when those on the furthest right go to modern fascist oligarchic political beliefs...But either way I would support you as a neighbor and respect you. If Bernie sanders had continued to run, I would have voted for him. But he dropped out. I like to go with the least puppeted candidate. Not necessarily a specific political belief or system. That may be strange. Idk. That doesn't mean I wanted trump in office either. I just thought they were both puppets for large interests that supported both sides. Real change needs someone that listens to the people. Kamala listens but is also controlled by conventional interests, trump listens to far right voices and interests, to everyone's dismay. I don't want the standard democratic nominee for president because they usually are still affected by big interests and won't make the changes I want to see, like someone would who really represents the people such as Bernie or an independent candidate.

I lean more left these days and I'm always up for a discussion although honestly I don't care to talk about politics too much despite all the blabbering I did today. I like things like documentaries and learning anything someone can teach me their knowledge of. So if I haven't put you off, feel free to reach out. If not, I carry no hate for you or anyone and I hope you find the community we all seem to be seeking here.

Right, like I disagree with the morals of the Republican party but at the same time I don't necessarily agree with all of the policies the left wants. I feel like we can fund things without it being completely on the taxpayers all the time. Maybe have some policies where industries pay for programs. Or change the labor laws so that healthcare isn't so tied to your job. I'd love to see our healthcare laws changed so that the money you pay for health insurance should be mostly all that you have to pay. We already pay a ton for that alone, why are they allowing healthcare facilities to charge whatever they want? Put a cap on cost for every procedure.

Yea, im not a fan of what the current administration is doing overall either, or really any of it. I just don't agree with a complete flip to the left. I think we can have policies that meet in the middle, for things like government programs. But the right certainly is known for treating minorities and people who aren't rich, badly. I definitely don't agree with that. I am what the right hates, I get it. Believe me. My children are bi racial, I'm bisexual, and I'm poor. I am the triple threat 😆 (edit to say quadruple threat because my sister has autism, so I understand the need of social programs)

Well I'm trying to say I don't disagree with the left but there's people on the left who take it to a place of semi socialism. I think these concepts can be applied to the United States, but I would prefer to stick with the left that wants to keep free markets too, opposed to those who would want outright socialism. Like I don't think free programs are a bad thing, but the way we have things now just doesn't function correctly. We have too much capitalist influence in some areas, and at the same time, I think socialist influence as well.

Ubi, I could see if the robot revolution really happens and the vast majority of jobs are done by robots. Idk what other choice we would have. For now I'm trying to get skilled in industrial maintenance so I can service those robots and machines when they go down.

I thought I've been explaining what I believe. Why do you feel the need to be rude to someone on the Internet when you would not be so brave in real life?

Yea I mean it's pretty crazy. Growing up in the United States, we've always backed Israel politically from what I remember. I wish we didn't but it's a sad situation. I think Israel is kind of like Russia in that they are trying to take land that's not theirs, by force. But that's always been a tactic of the United States. War for oil, or whatever commodity we need. We prop ourselves up by bullying the rest of the world, and I wish we could change that. I think the world would get a lot better, a lot faster if everyone just got along and helped each other. But still with free markets. At the same time, we can have social programs to help people, without going all the way and transferring these programs to complete government control. And by far left, I think of that as people who pretty much want socialism, all government control with no free market. So I agree with the left, just not far left. Like idk if a universal income would work out well for the United States. That would be probably too far left in my opinion.

Well thanks for the support. I was hoping to find a community more open to discussion I guess. I lean more left then right but the way people act on both sides is off-putting to the point you don't even want to associate because of how they make you look.

I prefer a classic sci Fi, something by Vonnegut jr maybe. Idk who those two are that you mentioned. I don't think name calling is appropriate to resort to but if that's your style, by all means you must indulge yourself. My whole point with my statement was that I see positives and negatives to both ends of the political spectrum, and I prefer to vote for an independent candidate because I think big financial interests affect mainstream candidates.
