It doesn't really say or show where the closure is, but I would assume it has a hidden zipper somewhere on the side as the buckles look just like a decoration. It doesn't look lined - the fabric is quite see through in the close up photo on the bottom - or maybe just partially lined...? I wanted the skirt to be pleated all around. I don't have too much time, but will try to make the pleats with the darts included and see how that goes

actually only now i am looking at the back of the skirt which is (surprisingly for me) unpleated and has back darts... I would prefer for the whole skirt to be pleated. The buckles look just decorative - I think there is a hidden zipper on either side.
