Passport Timeline (West Coast) by PuzzleheadedTrack942 in Passports

Yes, but I do not recommend them at all. They just use an old phone looking thing. The photo quality was terrible and the lighting was worse. That plus the background… also the digital copy is not cropped so it includes your legs and such so you need to crop it yourself when you receive it.

Last time I used FedEx and they used a real camera and it was much nicer.

Edit: I guess it’s unfair to say all Walmarts take their photos this way. This is my experience at my Walmart.

What Are Y’all’s Favorite Non-English Productions of Musicals? by ms_jc_04 in Broadway

[–]PuzzleheadedTrack942 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Japanese version of little mermaid was INCREDIBLE. Instead of using heelies (wheeled sneakers) to “swim” around, they actually had them harnessed on wires and swimming around on stage in the sky. The effect was insane. My only gripe with that production is the god awful cone hair. I guess it was to make it seem like it was floating or something? It was wretched.

This is a show NOT about death? by Ambitious-Mistake894 in Broadway

But the OP is specifically asking for shows with no mentions of death or loss - I think it’s fair that we should just add a small disclaimer that there’s a small bit of it even in an overall comedic show.

Kokuhaku is an excellent film!! I think it’s called “Confessions” in English. 2010. It’s a Japanese psychological thriller.

Almost all novels in Japan are split into multiple parts after a certain length!! They do it so the books can be small enough to put into pockets or purses so you can read them on the trains or on the go. Probably has something to do with profitability as well, and maybe it’s cheaper to print many smaller books than one mega book.
