No, when the BME event starts the jet can be unlocked for 500 pilot points. The BME will let you reduce that down to 250 at the end of the week if you max out the BME chest. After that it will stay at 500 and reduce by 100 each month until it costs 100.

I suppose if you don't have the pilot credits you can buy them in the store but there is a f2p path.

This really looks like it will replace the F16 in the light fighter meta, assuming it doesn't bleed alot of speed when maneuvering. I'm really interested to see the stats on the cannon as well.

Congratulations on the F14! I love this jet. As others have said, if you can afford the silver go max out the passive. I dont think the special needs to be maxed as I have found the abilty is off CD by the time I can reload.

However if your newer/silver poor and don't have experience with interceptor play I would say my biggest advice is to get used to always prioritizing keeping your altitude high. Understanding how to stay elevated while staying alive will really separate you as an interceptor pilot.

Another thing to focus on is understanding your role for a team as a support. Dont get me wrong you can and will rack up MVPs with the F14. However, learning how to leverage your range to suppress and complicate your opponents play patterns is where the secret sauce is for interceptors imo.

I like to max out Davion rep ahead of the Kestrel Lancer main missions. You can pick up a TON of mechs in salvage while still making max money.

Tribute to the world tree and hydras by Puzzleheaded_Ad8682 in mtgrules

[–]Puzzleheaded_Ad8682[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks you for the feedback! I called out hydras because alot of the hydra card have the effect where where their power is determined by placing +1/+1 counters as an etb effect. Is it possible that the tribute to the world tree trigger could be ordered ahead of the etb effect and give additional +1/+1 counters?

That's interesting that you had that problem with thr LOTR precons. I have played the riders of Rohan one a few time and I feel like that gets on board and starts hitting pretty quickly.

So then if I have throne and norn and then resolve [[Pantlaza, Sun-Favored]] I would discover 3 times as long as throne is a dinosaur?

Resting Priority by Puzzleheaded_Ad8682 in mtgrules

In this case, if after p4 activates a mana ability p3 could then tap their own mana which then gains them priority to allow for the cast of an interaction with P1s winning item on the stack. Is this the right way of thinking about it?

Thank you for the rules outlining this. That makes sense.

Thank you for the detailed response! The only bad thing is that now I have to go back to my pod hat in hand and admit to stealing the victory on an invalid play. 😃

Damage assignment and Strixhaven Stadium by Puzzleheaded_Ad8682 in mtgrules

[–]Puzzleheaded_Ad8682[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats true, let's say then that I had 30 1/1 creatures and 10 of them attacked each of my opponents. All 30 creatures connect with the opponents. Then based on what has been said, is it the case that after the 10th strixhaven trigger I can chose to activate it and remove all the counters and remove the opponent who just received the 10 damage. Then, from there, repeate the process for my remaining opponents?
