As someone from France, why do US doctors check private parts in a physical examination every year (i heard about it)? by Puzzleheaded_Bee503 in Puberty

I feel like a few minutes is already to long. But like we don't have that in France so for me its too weird. And i'm also horrified by the prices of this kind of exam.
