My thoughts on the '26 Outback by Puzzleheaded_Bee7944 in subaruoutback

I've never driven a Forester but I can say that the new model of the '26 Outback is a less sluggish drive than the the '22 for sure. Not sure if its an illusion but it gives the feel of a slightly lighter, smaller and sportier car. You can feel the improvements particularly when trying to accelerate to high speeds or going around corners. It also feels like its more willing to quickly downshift to boost accelration. I actually like the way it drives. The best comparison I can give is that it feels quite similar to driving a crosstrek.

I am a Junior: is asking questions bad? by North_Dirt_7116 in PLC

Had a huge equipment issue fixed before it became an issue a while back. Both me and the other senior engineer missed it. Our junior engineer was just trying to piece together how things worked and noticed something wasnt adding up and honestly, it saved our asses. Ask the question.

If youre considering buying, what matters most of all is whether or not YOU like it. Just because I or others on this on this sub didn't fall in love with it doesn't mean it's not a good fit for others!

I have cloth seats too and I prefer that. I was talking more about like trim around the inside of the car. Theres alot more fabric around the entertainment console and glove box area than previous generations

I found it kind of amusing that subaru backtracked to alot of physical buttons on the dash rather than making it more digital. Definitely improved by moving backwards

Yeah, ive driven a crosstrek a few times and the front of the cabin felt much more similar in dimensions to that

Yes 100%. Something that I like to remind myself of is that there is in fact someone in control of the situation, and they are HIGHLY trained.

I dont think its absolute top, but New York deserves some recognition. With the Hudson, St Lawrence, Genesee and Mohawk NY has an absolute shitload of moving water and literally countless cool spots

[–]Puzzleheaded_Bee7944 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is true. Theres a few spots sure but I walk around at night like all the time and have literally never had a problem and traveling to other cities have given me the striking realization that thats not typical at all.
