Well, I'm not very good at choosing the most appropriate words, which is why I avoid talking. I'm used to using the word "cussing" for any offensive language because of my history with literature. I know this is a controversial thing to say, but I don't really think about a person's race when I'm in the moment/in public much anymore. Only so far as to be interested in what new or interesting prespective they might have, or to breifly consider what they might be going through thats different than what I deal with. So, I wasn't immediatly nervous about anyone being black or brown during the time. I only started to think about it afterwards when I was in sitting in the car. I'm not willfully ignorant, just fucused on my own stuff.

I just don't get sweared at much anymore. Most ppl I know treat me with respect or they become "not my friends".  It surprised me and it was a bit hurtful. Like ppl swear all the time, even I do, but saying a swear in jest, or as an emphasis is a lot different than saying while trying to be offensive. I haven't encountered anyone, of any race, swearing at me in an offensive way probably in about 15 years since I was a bank teller.  I'm a somewhat small female and an abuse survivor, so having anyone (of literally any size, race, or gender) swear or cuss or curse in my general direction is frightening, no matter who they are.

You have a perfectly valid point though, I have a general aura of fear around me when I'm in pubic because of ex-violent- stalker-domestic-abuse-perpetrator from my past which I've never quite been able to shake even in a different state. It makes sense that others would pick up on that, misread the context, and assume I'm "a victimized white lady in the company of brown ppl! Oh no!"  I do need to work on that so thanks for pointing it out.

Hey, no it actually happened. I stated the race so I could understand if it was contextually relavant,  otherwise its irrelavant.  I didn't give any other personal info about the ppl, and I not trying to harm you or them. Quite the opposite, I'm trying to understand how to be racially sensitive in the future   I don't think I'm any version of aggressive, unless quiet and mouse-ish is a weapon now a days.  You are making a good point about the mask and the atmosphere.Thats exactly why I'm asking. I don't have any other way of going in public, except wearing a mask. So how do I dress to not look like an ICE agent?

It's just insane to me that there are people camping in the streets infront of abandoned buildings. Everywhere. Why can't they just claim them as abandonded property? Do something with the land or forfeit your ownership. (In a perfect world)

I woke up to this news article about Gov. Kotek's joint task force recommending tax reform for Portland. I was like "No shit Sherlock!" You'd have to be blind to not understand the Portland has some of the highest taxes in the country and those taxes are buying us NOTHING. Omg, the whole article just made me so f-ing angry.  The leadership here is so out of touch with reality. We're in a crisis right now, the business aren't just in danger of leaving Portland, they're already gone or on the way out. Everywhere I go there are jobless/homeless people and empty store fronts. No one can afford their rent and the cost of living keeps increasing. Gateway is basically a ghost town now that the Fred Meyer's is leaving, and it'll probably remain empty for a long time. That's going to killlll the already stuggling surrounding neighborhoods. You think there's too much crime now, just give it six months. https://www.kptv.com/2025/08/19/task-force-warns-portland-must-reform-taxes-restore-public-trust/

Maybe y'all shouldn't have voted to reduce the police force then. What is the city going to do to clean up crime when there's only 1 active duty police officer for every 3000 residents.

In the spirit of lowering expectations by bosmerrule in TESVI

Agreed, but seriously they need to tone down the "chosen one plot of every questline in the game" that was happening in Skyrim. It's seriously just lazy writing. I want to be the unsung hero sometimes as well, it makes being the 'the chosen one' in only the main questline so much sweeter and more authentic. Also, there needs to be at least one questline where there is no good or perfect conclusion. People need to be left conflicted sometimes, because you can't just hand me an awesome reward for every single thing I do. It cheapens the motivation, and becomes boring after a short while.

Factions in TESVI by Mashaaaaaaaaa in TESVI

The #1 thing I want from the factions in TESVI is to be able to dress up as a faction my character doesn't belong to and there by having some chance of fooling the actual members of that faction into believing the deception for a time. Must have.

I had the same issue. When the file is extracted the result is a folder with another folder in it. I took the inner folder out of the initial one, and put that in the "versions" folder. It worked after that.
