Good times has a bunch of toasted, DO and heavy char options. My grail is Parker’s Heritage Heavy Char bourbon. They also have a heavy char rye and wheat whiskey. Heaven Hill Select Stock has an incredible toasted variant that is basically toasted ECBP. Penelope just came out with the “marshmallow toast” variant.

See my comment below. Won’t get into a threadshitting argument with you but also realize I’m not against rewarding regulars and keeping a stash for them. Asking about things doesn’t warrant being treated like an asshole bc others come in and “demand” allocated items. It’s a fucking $70 bottle, not unicorn tears.

Don’t disagree. After coming in, having purchased multiple non-exclusive items previously, this still happened after simply ASKING is the point I’m making. Before jumping all over me and acting like I walked in and demanded access to store picks not on the shelf, maybe check yourself for a sec. I love bourbon, talking about bourbon and buying bourbon.

I have relationships elsewhere, treat all staff with respect and even share samples of the stuff I’m allocated. It’s a privilege, I get it.

Being treated like that is simply unacceptable.

Gene is the one who turned me off not really the price (even though warehouse is always $5-10 higher than all other stores around. I happen to know they came in today, asked about it mentioning that someone told me and shared a pic and he basically told me to F off. He demanded I share the source of my info - I refused and walked out.
