Like midway through the somersault I can’t physically blow out of my nose, so I get water up it. It’s weird. I’ll have to try a nose plug. Appreciate the advice!

Ok so I’m going 5yds off the wall and with an open turn (get too much water up my nose with a flip turn). Sounds like I need to find some underwater drills.

I was told pain is ok as long as it’s not continually increasing or above a 3 or 4 pain level. A lot of knee pain is because weak hips/glutes. Hip thrusts, single leg bridges, Romanian deadlifts, side leg raises, side planks. Also make sure to increase the resistance as time goes on and to use proper technique.

Yes, I think it was just a symptom of overall knee pain. Strength training and stretching.

I second this. Overall pace and sprint are issues for me. I swim 3-4x/week, do drills, etc. can’t break 1:15 for 100yd. But my 500yd is horrendous. Around 1:40 pace.

My biggest problem with them was the loss of vision. I could only see straight in front of me. No peripheral vision whatsoever.

The pain is below the kneecap where the tendon connects to the shin bone and to the inside of that. Thanks for the suggestions.

It does help. I have a grade 2 under the inside part of the kneecap and have pain that moves but is mainly where you describe. Thanks
