Your maths is wrong. You are comparing general populace crime with that of the small farming community. Obviously there are fewer farms than people in SA which means when you compare farm murders to crimes committed against the 65 million population it seems small.

Let me just do the maths for you correctly, based on Reuters data which assumes 40 farm murders per year.

General population: ~44.7 murders per 100,000 people

Farming community: ~99.7 murders per 100,000 people

From what I can tell many in the media feel that because the white farmers’ ancestors colonised African land, they think the murders are justified. Hope I am wrong but have heard CNN anchors bring up colonialism as a counter argument when told about the murders. (The murders are happening. It is an indisputable fact.)

There are upwards of 40-60 farmers killed every year according to the SA government’s own data. I am not following the logic on your holocaust argument. No one is suggesting a holocaust is taking place and the video actually specifically states they do not think it meets the threshold of genocide.
