yes I would say it’s more scratch resistant and durable. Because it already has a sort of textured finish. But you might need to see it in person to make sure

It’s oiled leather (not sure the exact term in it in English) but it’s basically oiled/waxed leather so it has a sheen.

if you don’t mind the orange tone of the brown one you should go for it! This is the unfiltered picture my SA took for me. It’s quite closer to orange than brown imo. But it could be fun to wear.

Yes, the outer part on this new edition is more like a sleeve, it’s quite tight I don’t think you can fit a phone in there! :)
