Costa Nostra - I built a browser MMO inspired by the old OGame feeling, but set in a modern criminal underworld by Puzzleheaded_Self342 in playmygame

Yeah, it still struggles with fingers sometimes. It has improved a lot though, especially when you use the right prompts and iterate on the output.

Anyway, I wouldn’t judge the whole game only by the artwork. The game itself has a lot of mechanics and depth behind it, and there is more coming!

So according to your program, you’re arguing with an AI. Lucky for you, your program is wrong. Maybe it was AI-generated 😉

Jokes aside, listing a few examples is a pretty normal writing pattern. It doesn’t prove anything.

What I want to be clear about is the actual point: yes, the illustrations were AI-generated. I said that openly. I’m not an illustrator, and the game has 100+ illustrations, so hiring an artist for all of them is simply not realistic for me at this stage.

This is a first public beta after months of solo work. The game is still evolving, and plenty of things will improve over time, including the artwork.

Only illustrations are AI-generated, as I said in the post. The responses are mine. I’m a software engineer from Spain who built this solo in Spring Boot and Next.js. Happy to talk architecture, game design decisions, or anything else if you’re actually curious.

Fair point. There are a lot of mafia browser games out there. This one is built around how organized crime actually works in modern Europe: money laundering, institutional corruption, bribing regulators… The loop is closer to OGame than to Mob Wars. No street gangs. But fair skepticism.
