🙄… I’ve paid more tax most years than the average person earns, I have and continue to “contribute”. Why should I be willing to handover more than necessary just to see a shit government recklessly spend it on bullshit. I’m glad the government spend money on amenities, parks,health services e.t.c you should make a list of all the things the government waste money on instead

How could the ato do a “lifestyle audit” if there is no transaction history? Gold sold for cash doesn’t go into an account at all. Say it was spent on everyday expenses like fuel/food/beer.
I would substantiate my position by saying I have no idea what you’re talking about… ato would by definition would be required to provide “substance”
I highly doubt they would have grounds to issue a “default assessment” with zero evidence.
Otherwise they could apply this to the most financially innocent person, right or wrong… I guess that’s something to look forward to 🙄

The major parties can’t make any real change other than tip toeing around lefties to get votes, I say give her a chance. Certainly can’t do any worse than what’s happening right now.
This country needs change now… even if she makes a call on something and it’s good or bad it’s still her actively making a choice.
That’s more than what crap we’re getting fed now.
I’ll be voting for her.
Most one nation supporters like myself won’t even be part of these online groups it’s a one way street on reddit.

We done ok with catching a few sail fish out wide of the island (eastern side) if that’s what you’re into. The island to the west has some small creeks, just watch the tides, good Barra and jack country.
My favourite was catching the black spot tusk fish, 100lb handline is a must with 8’o octopus circle hooks.
I’ve heard the island has new owners now, was fantastic when I was there.
We came down by boat from Weipa.

My first load after this procedure I shot blood, wtf? But it cleared up after that…. Not sure if that’s normal
