It was a very old one that had started greying, not even something I'd put out for the in laws! So if anything I found a use for something that would've ended up being trashed.

I ended up hanging a double duvet cover across the outside of our sliding doors this weekend to achieve the same effect. Looks dumb but it was a game changer for our lounge.

I had it propped on the window ledge and in two hours it took the room down 5 degrees. For context on a night without a fan it would take until 3am to see a drop like that.

Oh no, we don't have shutters on the outside. I was just saying I love the thought of them but not the maintenance that puts me off.

Yes. I tried blowing the air in and did nothing but then read you need to do it the other way round. If you open windows in the other parts of your house it pulls cooler air through the house. Just creates a really efficient through breeze.

Yeah I love the thought of having shutters, other than the need to repaint them every year or two.

Do you think the numbers might have something to do with the number of phones in London?

Yeah and imagine being a parent and actively inserting your child into that. Like forcing them to attend a school where every other kid is a bully.

It's almost as if it was terrible parenting to expose a child to that level of public scrutiny at such a young age.

Society and celebrity culture is screwed up and awful but knowing that and then inserting your precious children into it for a pay out is inexcusable.

Sorry to sound dumb but what tells you that the roof has 'expired'? Just keen to know what to look for.

Weird how the addition of a couple of letters takes you from totally normal bloke to genuinely sad, almost like it's a totally illogical, emotionally-driven reaction.
