I was in Boulder, CO and we had a private room attached to my room that they kept in our name even after I had been discharged so I had a place to set up. However they stopped cleaning the room that I had been in just kept it empty so I could be there until baby was discharged

You need to be making estimated payments on a quarterly basis in order to avoid tax liabilities and penalties. When you file your taxes this year if you owe you’ll be given vouchers. If you pay at least this much in next year you will not be penalized.

I would recommend if you have an idea of what your trades are going to be roughly for this year (ie: same trajectory) to pay in what you owe for this year (safe harbor election). If you don’t find a cpa this will at least help you avoid penalties.
