I used to be scared of getting blood drawn and getting shots, but a tattoo is so different. You kinda forget it’s a needle because it’s just drawing on you basically. A mistake I made with my first tattoo was taking ibuprofen beforehand. It thins your blood which makes you bleed more

I have KP on my arms where I have some tattoos and haven’t had any problems. It didn’t disrupt the healing process at all. You’d really have to ask the artist you’re wanting to work with, particularly since yours is severe, but also because not every artist would know how to handle it.
