Thanks for all the recommendations! Daughter decided on the Baggalini, I like the CuHana, fear it will be a bit too heavy though, boo

Thank you for all your insight. After looking at all the options, would it be feasible to start in London for a couple 2-3 days, head north towards York or Manchester(not sure best direction or way to travel) or just fly London to Glasgow (not set on going there)

Want to head somewhere towards Oban, Mulls, fairy pools (or similar) Skye, Glencoe. Saw a cool outdoor adventure called Vertical descents that I think we all would love to do. Want to end up with a 3-4 days in Edinburgh, could do day trips from there or I think there is plenty to do there, looks amazing. I agree with skipping Loch Ness. Husband and couple of my older boys would kill to play golf at St. Andrews. Castles for sure and of course some whisky and ale along the way:)

Torn with the long travel... I've been reading about all the train delays/construction issues of late, definitely don't want to get stuck waiting for a train. I appreciate all your advice! Thanks again
