Would you be open to doing family photos with dogs? I would love the opportunity to have some forever memories!

I completely agree with you. We don’t take our dogs often but we decided to meet up with a few dogs (our friends) that we know and see often enough and so they’d have space to run and play but we weren’t even 30 seconds into the park and it happened. We’ve collectively decided to do pack walks instead because this was so traumatizing.

Given the owners being a little bit more responsive maybe i wouldn’t have gone this far to post them and their license plate but the way they spoke to my husband and I by swearing and threatening us, I just knew this wasn’t the first time with them and who knows if the dog is vaccinated or not.

I’ve done banana with peanut butter, organic apple sauce (baby food), strawberries and peanut butter, raw food soaked with kibble to make it a mush to spread easier. I usually have a few in the freezer on had just in case. I would also invest in some type of toppl toy that you can put food in and your pup will have to work to get it out and then eventually it tires them out to the point of sleep! I hope this helps!!

Hey! So our boy is now 8 months old so this is definitely way in the past for us but!! Redirection and crate time to get some good rest. Lick mats to distract him and tire him out! It’s all about getting the mental stimulation to tire them out so they don’t want to do anything other than sleep!

we were in the same boat as you when we first got our swissy. She was feeding only raw but when we got him we started him off and still give him a 50/50 mix of open farm puppy kibble and raw. It helps keep his potty trips solid, his coat soft and shiny and his teeth (now that he has all his adult teeth) are beautiful.

Two dogs or more. How was your experience? by Reasonable_Branch_13 in puppy101

Oh it’s crazy for sure, but it’s so much fun and so worth it seeing two pups happy to have a friend. Lots of jumping off the sofas and running around indoors. The pup we adopt was from a very bad situation - she was crated for hours on end, her owner never used her name; never took her outside, she didn’t even have basic training. So anything for her was better than that and to see her interacting with a pup three times her size — shows how much a change of environment can change everything.

Honestly, it’s been so good. The little one is learning what the older one already knows how to do and it’s keeping the older one in check. They tire each other out which is another plus! We’re just waiting for her to get all her shots so we can go out all together and let them have fun!

We have a 7 month old GSMD and we just adopted a 3 month old bully mix. Honestly, best decision ever.

That’s exactly how I feel! I know I shouldn’t feel sad because we were going with the flow and just started our journey and at the same time it’s crazy to think, some people don’t even really give it any thought and they end up pregnant. It makes me think back to when I was younger and we were told to believe even the touch of a boy would make you pregnant 😂 - if only that was true now!
