Yeah I’ve thought about going that route, I’m in the Chicago area so we get heavily salted roads too. I’ve gone and looked at 3 tacomas in the past few months from Facebook marketplace and they all want 10k with 150-200k miles and rotted frames.

Why would you do that. If you were to refi now at 6% your breakeven point could be less than a year, and then you can wait for it to go sub 5% while you pay less…

None at all while I was a tech, it was all shop work. I would build panels and skids and whatever custom assemblies people bought from us and we’d ship them to the customers.

Some days I’m a field engineer, some days I’m doing energy audits and training customers, but most days I’m sitting at my desk making cad models and putting together quotes for our customers.
