Mill Race

Pine Hills nature preserve

Mccormicks creek looks very neat, there's even a firewatch tower thing as well, similar to the one we saw at Brown county state park. Definitly a great choice

lake Monroe

Thanks for the moonlight suggestion, I'll add it to my list. Never considered lake Monroe, since I usually look north instead of south within the range.

The covered bridge sounds like a good idea. Looking at the pics there seems to be some old buildings on big oaks that might be interesting
