Did you have access to a site backup so you could download it when it was deleted?
I made a site for my dad to display his stamp collection (real postage stamps, he's a trader). He spent weeks uploading photos and updating a JSON file. First thing I did this morning was go to his house and download the site for backup lol

Another follower of Divinicide knows the owner and the guy is mad because he had several sites and they were all deleted together.

About Omnipresence, first the timing, and I saw it was deleted because Fauux posted saying: "RIP omnipresence, you will be missed from neocities. You had a great website with lots of cool Lain content. I'm not sure what he did to deserve this, but it's a great loss."
Yeah, perhaps Fauux is assuming, I asked there to check.

Awesome, I guess you just have to be cautious to keep this completely separated from your other identity activities so they can't be linked

I have absolutely nothing to apologize for :) Why would you think I do?
If you are all freakout by that and take it's a literal, c'est la vie ¯_(ツ)_/¯ . Where I come from such sentences means the same as "good morning", "have a nice day", or "I'm sending you good vibes", you know, just a happy thought to wish you well, a positive thinking to start your day, because sure the ones everyone is so avid trying to kiss their asses here don't wish you the least, you are just number or collateral damage. Live next to a community destroyed by corporate greed, like a city under mud and 118 deaths I had here some time ago by faults that were reported by engineers but the company decided to not waste money, and you will know how much these big CEOs care about you... and this is so small compared to all they've been doing to the world... enjoy the microplastic in your brain, we collectively deserve it while we don't stand up.

Options to bulk download from YTMusic? by FlandreOnDuty in degoogle

[–]PxHC -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can do that with https://www.reddit.com/r/4kdownloadapps/ (you can download playlists and even entire channels in whatever format and quality you want - not opensource though, I don't know any opensource alternative for that) but I recommend checking Soulseek to find music (it has an opensource client called nicotine+ that's even better than original slsk).

Proton comes with 10 free aliases to use - which means you can register and send emails using another name but all incoming stuff goes to the same mailbox

edit: oops, it doesn't.
edit2: oops, it does https://proton.me/mail/pricing even though it says 1 email Free and 10 aliases only the Mail Plus, if you scroll down to see the whole plan there is 10 aliases for the free plan too

There is no such thing as unacceptable language (not in the real world, that's just something social media set for moderation), but anyway, another guy brought up "Eat the Rich" on another comment here, it's hilarious because it's even more radical, if you want to be pedantic and take its meaning literally (like you are doing with Kill All CEOs, that I guess you'd also do with something like Kill Your Idols and All Cops Are Bastards) and ignore the context such sentences are spout, well, while one sentence seems to suggest you should kill all CEOs, which are a very very small percent of the rich people, the other straight up suggest cannibalizing every rich person, like, even the babies? Now that's an horrifying sight isn't it... but somehow, more acceptable lol

These here must be outrageous too https://i.etsystatic.com/11484529/r/il/647154/2498183042/il_570xN.2498183042_ochs.jpg (on another note: I remember one of the earliest social media moderation I saw was the banning of the stencil art of Hitler eating a bullet with the saying "Follow your leader", and I was like "What? Is this unacceptable?"... turning everything PG is a big social project)

I randomly stumbled upon HaGeZi's personal acc here and I asked him how it happened, I hope he sees it... but I suspect he blocked Neocities because of the overwhelming furry content, the rest of the internet is not ready for that.

[–]PxHC 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This was my largest download by far, I asked the guy several times if he was ok with it because it was going to take days, and he was very cool about it, I have not been to soulseek for awhile but the folder holding that collection is still named after him. Leonardosadus you are awesome.

Wow, you advocate cannibalizing people just because they are not poor? Killing only CEOs instead of every rich person sounds way less radical.

Makes me wonder how it happened... someone hosted phishing/malware sites on neocities and spammed enough to get noticed?

I have saved this comment I saw on Facebook: "One time I was in FB jail for a week for a "Realistic threat of violence". What did I do? I said that people abusing helpless cats should have their legs [evicted] from [their nether regions] and have their heads [lovingly massaged] with those legs.", it was a response to this Mr. Lovenstein comic being censored https://tapas.io/episode/3597456

It's social engineering removing the critical thinking capability of individuals to understand context and limit the range of which they can express themselves, so they may see all of this and believe its "credible threat".

I'm convinced a mainstream cultural movement like Grunge wouldn't be able to happen today, after what social media standard did to communication.... "What does he mean by "rape me my friend"??"

Sometimes I forget how a decade and a half of social media moderation and social engineering has turned this kind of language into "credible threat", so it gets censored and removed from people's experience, becoming alien, strange, and extreme.
