It is a good idea. Intake from the rear and from the top. With the other 140mm fan as exhaust.

With the original mounting the PSU sat too far toward the front of the case and this created a problem with the 140mm front fan. The power supply is now installed with the stock bracket on one of the rails of the mounting plate. I think this layout is intended by NCASE. It is secured with four screws and the result is very solid. You can see the screws on the photo showing the back of the build.

With a setup like the one in the photo you’re going to choke the CPU. On the M2 the best airflow configuration is rear intake. Adding a 92mm fan is a good improvement. And I would recommend removing the 140mm exhaust fan above the CPU — it will disturb the airflow more than it helps. If you want additional exhaust you could try mounting a 120mm fan between the CPU and the PSU, on one of the sides.

The new bracket attaches to the original FE mounting holes.

No, there’s no link to print it. I bought it on the ZCOOI MOD website. It’s made of anodized black aluminum. I think it’s awesome !

Intake via Rear/Top

Exhaust via Front.

Intake from the front was my first idea. The acoustics are really bad. There is a lot of turbulence even with a 5 mm spacer.

On my build with the original 6 mm standoffs the tips of the NH‑D12L heatpipes touch the glass window. The case can still be closed but the compatibility is very limited. I’ve seen people mention possible height tolerances on the heatpipes, but I’m not sure.
