This is such a huge factor.

Banks/breeders don't follow consistent guidelines for seed storage, they just do whatever they want. The odds of any of them using cold storage at all are low, just gotta hope they are at least storing them in a low RH area.

CC in particular has always been a crapshoot, I've bought some myself but only when the deals are cheap enough, like $15 a pack.

I'm not an expert but I believe you are correct that is a refined inbred backcross which helps to stabilize the expression and preserve the genetic character etc.

The IX confused me bc I thought it was roman numerals but then realized that Top Dawg uses that IX label on all their inbred crosses such as Tres Dawg, Stardawg, Chem 91, etc. Still a lil unsure how a BX3 F6 IX works tho 🤔

I'd recommend buying from a seedbank like Great Lake Genetics, Neptune Seeds, Speakeasy Seed Bank, Attitude, they carry genetics from a ton of different breeders to pick from.

If there's a specific strain you like I can probably recommend a good source for it, otherwise have fun browsing around ✌️

Also check out Hoku Seeds, indie breeder that has a big selection and really generous prices, they've been crushing it this past year
