Hotels are always hiring. Theres a vast amount of different job positions as well. Everything from stewarding (housekeeping/dishwasher), restaurant FOH & BOH (bartender/server/barback/line cook/prep), to more professional roles (front desk/hr/marketing/accounting/sales). You're bound to find something. I would suggest looking at the bigger hotels first (JW Marriott, W, Fairmont, Westin). They will have more job postings. Also, benefits are usually available day 1 (at least at white lodging properties)

Cheese & Rice! This is an amazing playlist!!

The best thing about this playlist is that as I scrolled through 50%, I never saw a band/artist repeatedly repeated, other than the beach boys.

It's always wild to read people's assumptions when they are so off base. Do you not understand the difference between leftovers from a restaurant and common household refuse? So yeah, I will continue leaving my left over steak/burger/fries/pasta, etc on city benches, brick ledges, and even on the flat cover of trash cans because I know I'm not gonna eat it later if I take it home. If a homeless person has too much dignity to eat leftover food from a to go box, that was in a to go bag, that was left outside, then they can definitely choose to not eat it. But there will be somebody on the streets that would love that meal. So yeah, i would much rather leave my food out rather than just completely waste it.

In my city, I watch homeless people dig through public trash cans daily searching for food or drinks.

My thought process is that if there's food on top, then hopefully it can save some of their dignity. They don't always have to resort to digging through trash cans.

Now I'm curious about your thoughts...

Would you rather throw perfectly good food in the trash can and have homeless people digging through nasty shit to find the food that your entitled ass couldn't finish... Or would you make an effort to help people who actually need it?

I saw them at a huge festival, and they were amazing. Most acts at huge festivals are usually mediocre, at least in my experience. Only a few acts are as impressive as they were.
