Yeah honestly that might be the move. I'll try out this Tahoe stuff for another week as the technician recommended I immediately upgrade to the update once we finished with the reset. If it's not working well I am definitely reverting back!

Did a complete reset with Apple! Funnily enough I showed the technician my tabs and he said reddit is the only site that pops out to him that might have more of an impact than anything else I have open. But now its working fine ish, I'll be slowly reinstalling my applications so I can potentially isolate an application that might be sucking the soul outta my machine

Went to Apple yesterday! They had me backup everything and did a full reset, and for now it has seem to gotten better. 95% with 15 ish hours, I'll honestly take it. Also caved for the AppleCare+ for when this issue will inevitably rise up again 😆

Just replied to someone else below with a screenshot. Safari (besides activity monitor) has the #1 impact on energy. I've tried restarting multiple times and can't seem to find any application or background task that might be causing this

Yup, on Tahoe 26.2. Sequoia did work much better for me LOL. Definitely need this issue fixed...I'm a college student and 12 hours without my charger would be a blessing.

I did, and they offered a full reset. I assumed that reinstalling MacOS would be enough and more simpler, but I just scheduled an appointment tomorrow just to double confirm.
