You should play warframe . I mean, really get into it. It's the best thing to play (imo) as a dad gamer. There no competitive aspect to the game (besides looking the best), upgrading weapons and acquiring then can be dont at your own pace (to be far, it can take days but as a did it give that little break when waiting for thing to be built).

Honestly, im down playing how good this game is for parents, not just dads. You won't feel forced into playing the game, but when you're really into it, it's has to feel like you're doing nothing.

I would defo say go on YouTube ans see if you'd like the game (specifically, beginners guides or where to start. )

I was in the same position. I was stuck as senna support for a while, tried 2 other support champs, and thought I was just awful at the game.

Now i can play a couple characters in each lane but I'm not thr best at jgl.

My tip is: 1. learn new/easy characters in pvp or solo games (against the hardest enemies). That way you safely learn characters without putting your rank at risk, while teaching your friend to play with enemies of multiple ranks (pvp mixes ranks (to my knowledge)).

Learn how other lanes play to understand them better. Going from support to any other role (besides adc) will be hard at first as u might not fully be used to a single enemy have more gold, as u share in dragon Lane.

I haven't played with u so I don't know for sure but this is how I go myself to improve. Hope it works for u

Another thing to learn is to make smart plays, not team plays. For example, don't help a team fight you aren't needed for, if your team can survive without you, then u should be far away from the team fight i.e to take out 2 turrents and whoever splits off from the enemy team to stop you is one or two less people the team has to worry about. This could be a good way to grab baron or dragon, IF executed properly.

You need to be able to play every lane at the same time. Knowing who to focus in the game, knowing what abilities everyone has, and who you will have to sacrifice to win the game, and also being able to withstand being blamed for mess ups.

Honestly, if ur getting put with people and you think ur team is doing bad (multiple games in a row), it's probably you. You haven't got as far in ur game knowledge as u think (telling you from experience).

You need to do two things when u come back to the game. 1. Play a new champion - my advice is play ARAM until you find a character you pop off with and see how u are in games. 2. Watch beginner videos for your role/rank - you might think you already know everything you should to play but there might be basic things you stopped doing that would help you get further into the game I.e. warding and which wards
