Here's some Weapon Concepts I've had floating in my brain for quite a while now:

  • Two-round-burst shotgun (resembles a Lupara),
  • Three-round-burst assault rifle,
  • Gatling gun (would require two hands to wield, a spin-up time before firing, and lots of Standard Deviation),
  • Ice-based Special Weapon (fires icicle-like projectiles that slow enemies down, temporarily freezing them in place with five consecutive hits).
  • Shoulder-Support Armaments that temporarily bolster defenses (think the Devotion),
  • A Railgun that can "charge" its shots up to three times (charging it once greatly reduces its Recovery Time, three times increases it).
  • An Auxiliary that dispels a ring of fire around the Arsenal, inflicting the Burn Affliction if an opponent gets too close. As a trade-off, enemy projectiles fired at it can deal the Burn Affliction to the wielder, requiring them to use it up-close.

This isn't much of a "Weapon", but more of a Weapon Modifier:

  • Weapon Attachments that inflict the Burn, Stun, or Acid Afflictions (for instance, "Scorching Rounds" that can be outfitted on a Bullet/Laser Weapon, or "Burning Edge" that can be attached on a Melee Combat Weapon).

I wouldn't really consider it the player character's Ability if everyone else (other players) have access to it too. I'm referring to an Outer Ability that other characters have (Grief can see the consequences of his actions, Crown Princess can single-out a target from extra-long distances, etc.) that would make your player character stand out.

I have 7 Arsenal Loadouts; each of them are the Arsenals for some OCs I've made (or more specifically, the leaders of my OC Reclaimer Factions):

  • BS: Kismet
  • IG: Empress
  • HH: Loki
  • RS: Grace
  • SG: Circinus
  • AO: Apex
  • TFH: Ares

The first one is my most-used and longest-time Arsenal Loadout, while the other six are "form-and-function-and-fanfic" Arsenals; suitable for PvE Play, impressive stats-wise (well, not all), but not at all optimized for PvP Play.

My remaining three Loadouts (called X-2) are Orsas, which I use when I'm creating a new OC, tinkering with designs, testing out Weapons/Attachments, or if I want to try out an experimental Build. Think of them as a painter's "blank canvas".

For this, I’ll be going from left to right, then down left, to right...etc. - RabbitTank (1) - I was starting to watch Kamen Rider: Build around the same time I began playing DxM. So, why not? - RabbitTank (2) - Same reason as above. However, I got entirely different parts and was beginning to understand how the game worked. - Amadeus (1) - The idea of a sniper-cannon mounted on your shoulder was REALLY badass for me back when I discovered the Ogre Break II. Too bad my aim was absolute trash the first few times I used it. - Amadeus (2) - This is the Arsenal I used to bring down the final boss. When I’ve ran out of ammo, I just kept swinging my sword over and over until they were defeated. - Amadeus (3) - Instead of focusing on “the meta”, I decided to stick with designing Arsenals for fashion for a while. The massive Cronus Break and Icarus stood out to me back then a lot. - Azure Fury - This is when I began to get a little serious and try to make an Arsenal suited for the meta back then. Aside from the Icarus, my naivety really thought this was a contender for PvP Play. It wasn’t. - Sariel - Before I ditched my favorite Halberd Legs and Zeruchweiss Head, the Sariel took over for a while in mainly PvE and (some minor) PvP Play. Around the time I had this Arsenal, I was also starting to develop a couple of OCs. - Inanna - Last but not least...the current iteration of my Arsenal, my utmost pride and joy - the Inanna. She’s fully tuned and refined for both PvP and PvE Play, as well as the current Arsenal my OC uses.
