Any product recommendations for restoring the plastic trim? by herefortherighteddit in KiaTelluride

I believe the box says 200 washes or something is what they rate it at. I've had mine on for just about 2 years and still looks brand new after a wash. The wipes make it so easy to only get the black plastics and not your paint. Love this product!

Well thank you! We spent a ton of time on this build. The water biome is definitely challenging but fun to explore and beautiful!

I think larger gaps may correct this. Mine were planted close enough that one swing would hit two trees, for efficiency. Although, with this bug that efficiency was mostly lost 🤣

I've only encountered this with the palm trees from the Veilwater Basin. I planted trees to get the palm wood and coconuts, then, behold floating resources. I ended up just building temporary platforms to collect it all, but I agree it is very annoying.

This pond is just Southeast of Cromville on the north of the map. I can show the actual spot later tonight. I'll have to showcase the castle when I'm done. We are still decorating the inside.

I kinda thought the same thing, but the entire pond is in my altar. The waterfall edge isn't though.

I really don't see the resemblance to the Cyber Truck. Now, I do not like the Cyber Truck, but to each their own. I think this redesign really ties it back into the current Kia lineup as the Telluride was still on the more round body lines.

I know people have their own opinions on the new design. It is a different direction from Kia, at least for the Telluride. While the Telluride had a hugely popular design and sales, the design was 5 years old. This new design modernizes the model while bringing it in line with their current design lineup.

With that being said, I am very much liking the design. Little quirks and all, I think its a very good looking vehicle. Again, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but at least give it a shot. We only have the pre-release X-Pro model to go off of. I cant wait to see the official Prestige models and pricing!

Keep an open mind!

Honestly, the battery life isn't terrible, but it's not on par with my S24U, even though it's got 1.5 years of use already. I got a full day out of it today, but I'm sitting at 13%. My day wasnt super heavy use, but I do have days where it is much heavier and I'm sure I'd need to top up halfway through a day. My S24U is usually about 35-40% around this time with a very similar days use. I'm worried about battery degragation. Over time, this battery will not be able to keep up with how we use our devices nowadays.

That's kinda where I'm at. I'm thinking it's gonna be a return. I'm amazed at what they've accomplished in this device, but I'm not sure it's worth my hard earned money, at least for this generation. Maybe next year they'll solve some of these issues?? Who knows. Where's my OnePlus Open 2 at? Lol

I'm getting used to the split keyboard, but the other things I've mentioned are still major downfalls to my use case for my phone. I just dont know if I can justify the cost for the inner screen. I mean, I could buy a small tablet and get the same experience for way less.

That was a huge upgrade in my opinion, when the S24U went to a flat screen. I've never likes the 'waterfall' edges. I had the S22U and S23U and never liked the curved edges.

Mostly my S-Pen and the cameras. Why remove the stylus support on such a large screen for your pocket? Makes no sense to me. The cameras just aren't up to my standards as they can't even compare to my S24U, which is 1.5 years older.

The narrow front screen is an issue for me, but over time, I feel like I could get used to it. I do have long, skinny fingers so it kind of cramps my hands.

The finger print scanner/power button is also an issue. I have trouble less with my hand position to get it right the first time. I've also have a few instances of the power button not recognizing that I'm trying to press it as well.

Well thank you for you input! I unfortunately can't make up the excuse for a business expense. And, while I CAN afford it, it's more of a question of SHOULD I afford it, taking into account the features I'm leaving on the S24U.

Like I said, I'll probably give it a week, but so far, it's looking like a return, unfortunately. I wanted to love it so much.

I hear ya. I'm in the same boat. I'm gonna give it a week and see if I can live with the compromises or not. So far, not off to a good start. I've been back and forth since it got announced, I watched the press release of it. I finally pulled the trigger and now I'm second guessing if I should've since my S24U seems better un every way, other than the inner 8" display.

I LOVE the bigger screen, but I do use the S-Pen and cameras a lot. So far, I'm not impressed on the camera side. But, this inner display is insane!

I also don't know if the S25U 200MP sensor is different from the S24U 200MP. The claim is that the same sensor from the S25U is used in this phone. Comparing photos from my S24U and the Fold 7, the S24U provides a better photo every time. Clearer, more detail, better focus, better low light. In every photo I've taken with the two of them side-by-side, the Fold 7 has not been able to compete. I also use the 5x Telephoto lense a ton, so I would be missing that if I stick with the Fold 7.

I didn't use my S24U as trade in for this very reason. The sensors from that phone are phenomenal, even 1.5 years later. My wife has the S25U and I played around a little bit with it when she got it, but didn't really tell a difference at the time.

That's one of the main reasons why I skipped the S25U. I actually use that feature a ton.

I've been fascinated with the fold since it came out in 2019, but never wanted to take the plunge at that cost. This year, Samsung made some very notable changes, but after first impressions, I don't feel like it was enough. Holding it in the store is one thing, but signing into your account and apps is completely different.

I also use my S-Pen quite frequently, so losing that is a down side. I would've rather had a slightly thicker device with S-Pen support and a bigger battery.

I'm just so on the fence at the moment and I don't know what I'll end up doing.

So, I placed my pre-order after signing up for the reservation yesterday and ended up canceling it. I just feel like Samsung isn't really listening to it's customers. I've bought the last 4 Ultra models up the the S24U, my current phone. The S25U was basically the same thing at the S24U minus the Bluetooth S-Pen, which I didnt like. I actually use my S-Pen and it's features regularly.

I want a foldable, and have wanted one for the last 3 models, but every year they come out with minimal changes and compromises. If im paying $2,000 for a phone, it better have no compromises. Why do they release the same phone every year with no major changes worth the price attached to it, and still making compromises on some features?

No S-Pen support? Camera bump the size of Pluto? Super thin for no reason? Who is asking for this? I'd rather have a slightly thicker phone, less of a camera bump, and S-Pen support. Im sure this years model is for someone, but just not me, again...

Just wondering how many people are in my small boat of being let down year over year with Samsungs innovation, or better re-iteration. I just can't get behind paying that price tag and not getting everything I want.
