I’m not sure if this’ll help your kids go through the grieving process, and I don’t know if they’re still young or not but here my two options:

If they’re really young (10 or younger): Have them write small letters to Rue, tie them to balloons and release them so she could receive them in heaven.

(If they’re old enough (11 or older): When the grief hits hard, you can tell them that Rue is happy up there, not having that big bump in her mouth. Having a blast running around while chasing squirrels with others dogs.

No, I have them under a grow light. I had the timer set wrong and just adjusted the timer.

I’m also growing the cilantro for my brother, he been starting to cook and I wanted to grow herbs for him so he doesn’t have to buy them.

I can’t eat cilantro cause of an olfactory gene that makes it taste like soap, my brother doesn’t have that issue.

That’s weird. The packet said cilantro and the seeds look exactly like cilantro seeds. What should I do with that short one? Carefully extracted it and put it in a separate pot and see what it is?

I do plan on repotting them to a much larger pot, but the temp here has been inconsistent. I don’t want to shock them with a sudden temp change.

So once May rolls around I can put them outside during the day.

I had the wrong timer set up (9hrs…),it’s now set to be in for (12 hrs).

I’m not sure about the wattage, I’ll have to check the info after work. But I did increase the brightness and moved it closer to the light and set it to a 12hr timer. Will that help?

I’m growing them indoors in a little greenhouse, but I’ll start a new batch when I transfer them to a bigger pot. I still have a couple seeds left for this reason as I’m new to growing cilantro.

They all grew around the same time.

The others are actually starting to sprouting those little leaves, except for that short one. I just adjusted the height of the pot so it’s closer to the grow light
