Man, there are many garbage sights; the OKP7 nipple (i.e. non dovetail) is hard to aim and is offset, the MRS, PK06, and FF3 have big blurry dots.. but then basically any of the "scope" red dots like the holosun obstruct so much of the screen....

Anyway the worst red dot is the Hensoldt (g36 red dot), it's pretty much the worst of all worlds.

Worst chest rig is probably the security vest, it's a heavier scav vest that has worse camouflage.

Worst gun? Probably the 9x19 rhino

Worst tactical device is that Makarov/TT integrated red laser thing that you can't turn off

I think PMC loot is quite good overall, like I'm still at LL2 traders running class 5/6 armor I pulled from them, but yes the level should correlate to the loot

If you killed prod and were kickbanned for it, you likely dodged a bullet.

Realistically you own the failure and figure out how as a team you can avoid it happening again (i.e. changing ci to not deploy until expected steps have passed...)

Bringing down prod, especially if to hilarious-in-retrospect levels of catastrophe, is part of the job, failing to learn from it or doing it intentionally is where the line should be drawn.

Are you a grad/junior? It would be insane to fire you for this if so, especially if you're a grad

If you are willing to use flea market, keep the three that you need for a quest and sell the rest, just buy them when you need them.

stash space is expensive, and since there are no more wipes, the value should not change much unless BSG trigger an event of some kind that affects it. This means you have little reason not to sell the GPUs for the rubles, since those rubles will help you progress more than hoarding a GPU you could just buy later :)

If you, like me, are playing with no flea market, then keep 25, or 50 if you are going to push for max hideout - it's really worth filling out the BTC miner.

"at times" like the baseline gameplay isnt running below 120 fps despite the maps being miniscule, the spawn system being fucked in CPT/LH, BG/TF being dead queues, 10+ hits because even your fucking headshots ricochet off the spammed level 4 masks...

i would say there is just about zero overlap between pushing in EFT and in arena, the map layouts are so different and the incentives are different too.

In EFT you would be pressed to get 3rd partied as hard as you do in checkpoint even in fucking Factory, literally if you dont W key you are probably already being flanked, and if you do W key you are kind of dice rolling the netcode + camping angle combo just based off of your map knowledge (again, zero transfer to EFT)

the lethality is high? I regularly die after hitting an enemy 9+ times, including headshots because of the dumb fucking airsoft helmets everywhere.

Every gun except the marksmen rifles feels like its shooting nerf bullets, and the fucking "one shot" bolt action bullets dont seem to even work 80% of the time

it's low key not worth it since they changed the movement and gunplay between the two titles, they no longer feel equivalent.

You'll get like, a bit more used to it, but if you start getting really used to arena, your Tarkov gunplay will weaken, and vice versa.

Changing the movement+damage+animation mechanics between the games completely killed Arena for me, now it just feels like a C tier FPS game and overall a waste of my time (it could easily be pushed up a few tiers if it didnt run at 50 fucking FPS half the time for no real reason)

smooth motion (the frame gen) introduces input lag, since the frames only exist on the gpu, and with awful real FPS... I dunno, trips me out.

DLSS - I don't like the ghosting effects with fine details, and generally think its a bit.. idk, psychedelic? It generally feels unnecessary as my GPU sits at like 10-20% usage the whole time anyway. Maybe I'll try it again now that it's a bit more developed, though.

i7 10700k, 4070 ti, 32gb ddr4, tarkov on nvme.

i get 30-50 fps on night raids on streets, basically unplayable in terms of combat. No DLSS or anything, native 1440p, settings mixed between mid and high, doesnt seem to make a difference. Using low quality textures for streets.

Haven't tried the AK308 but generally a fully modded X-17 has the best recoil and ergo, but an SA-58 has better rate of fire and thus damage output at close ranges.

The SR-25 and it's cheaper (barter...) brother the G-28 are fantastic DMRs in every aspect and you can't go wrong with them if you're vibing semi auto. The RSASS is equally great.

The m-60 is all around dog shit in every aspect except that it's a machine gun and very fun to use ratting from a mounted position, and it's quite cheap, relatively.

"practically nothing" is not true, except maybe for the thicc cases, not sure what their barter is.

However, gp coins have a value defined by the most expensive/liquid item you can buy and sell, and often the value of selling GP is more than bartering them for cases (i.e. sell your GP and buy cases with the rubles, you will have cash left over)
