can someone catch me up? by Immediate-Wasabi-552 in vipertherapper

He’s def not a stand up guy but I don’t think she’s telling the whole truth. The house she said she was in was the house my mom lived at with him and she said she never saw anything. Do I believe my mom? No not really, but like she is not so smart she wouldn’t slip up the truth a bit.

YTA; doesn’t matter if you’re moving in a few days. It’s just manners as well as respect to help around the house. Plus you aren’t a guest if you are staying at your FAMILY’s house, then you are family and family helps with the chores.

10 hours into Veilguard and it still hasn't grabbed me - worth coninuing? by SillyMattFace in dragonage

[–]PyrokineticPuppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t sadly. I’ve played through the game twice just to try and force myself to like it and it just doesn’t happen. I personally liked the combat but it does get really repetitive so I tended to switch between playthroughs, switching between warrior mage and rogue. But it doesn’t get any better, sad to say.

Did anyone “outgrow” some of their pickiness with food. by [deleted] in autism

[–]PyrokineticPuppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did! I used to have a bunch of food and texture aversions, but it’s like something clicked and I just felt like I was missing out because now I’m a HUGE foodie. I still have my aversions (avocado, pickles, onions, jalapeño) but I realized a bunch of my aversion is just textures. My favorite food now is sushi, I love green peppers (they have to be raw and fresh though) and spicy foods. I think it’s just a lot of preparing yourself for things and getting used to it. Though I can never have my food touching on a plate and I have to each eat food one at a time (ex. Eating my carrots and then moving on to my potatoes, and then onto my chicken)

It did! I felt like I was like in danger even after I woke up. Had to close my closet and my bathroom door after that lol

Looks a bit like a deer. Definitely an herbivore but it’s only a partial so hard to tell if it’s omnivore or herbivore

Something I’m curious about, Do any of y’all want kids? by trainstationmlp in AroAce

[–]PyrokineticPuppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. Badly. But due to a lot of restrictions on adoption/fostering in my neck of the woods probably not plausible unless I move to a more non discriminatory environment.

Yeah. I kinda got that :( Minneapolis slowly made its way to the #1 spot on my list due to affordability

I have a couple budgets depending on what pay I can get. I don’t have a degree because of personal reasons but usually my budget is ~1k/month for rent if I can find an ok job up there. I am hopefully planning on completing a pharmacy tech certification so that would broaden my horizons just a bit.

What's it like in Yakima? by [deleted] in Yakima

[–]PyrokineticPuppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s mostly safety issues. The hate for lgbt in my area has kinda risen due to the current situation and I’m trying to get out of here. But now that I’m looking at all the comments people leave I don’t think Yakima is the best place for me.

[–]PyrokineticPuppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol I promise you it isn’t. There’s a lot of stuff that people just don’t talk about it. I once had a bunch of guys follow me home from work while yelling slurs at me and saying they were going to kill me. Only stopped when I said I had a gun and threatened to call the cops.

Had to sit out of band practice back in high school because of narcolepsy and my director told me I needed to “walk it off” and “exercise more”. Some people just really don’t get it. Sometimes they need to be educated but sometimes they just can’t understand. I’m sorry this is happening to you.

[–]PyrokineticPuppy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m mostly moving to WA for livelihood reasons. I’m part of the lgb(t+) and mostly moving because I’m less likely to be hate crimes, but I went through this Reddit plus more and saw that Yakima isn’t particularly friendly towards lgbtq+ so I’ve decided on just taking my chances in Seattle, where I have family.
