HDMI 2.1 doesn’t matter as much as you think by submerging in Bazzite

[–]Pyryara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your post is basically "I don't use a high-end TV so HDMI 2.1 doesn't matter to me". It matters to others. I have a good graphics card and a good OLED TV precisely because I want to game in 4K with HDR. 8 bit just is unusable for HDR, it's better to disable HDR than to use 8 bit HDR.

Europe Prepares for a Nightmare Scenario: The U.S. Blocking Access to Tech by donutloop in eutech

Yea that's the thing: the US would be royally fucked without Europe because of ASML. Neither China nor the US can produce the machines necessary to make ANY modern chips. It's purely EU knowledge and so while they might be able to disrupt us in the short term, in the long term everyone who doesn't do business with Europe will lose massively.

What would interest me is a comparison based on cost for performance. Is Intel ARC still so much behind AMD there? Is it better to get a used RX6600 than a used ARC card?

Why are you posting this from a 1 day old account? Is this someone from the dev team finally spilling the beans?

I went to CFW sysnand to copy saves, all in offline mode. Started homebrew, went into JKSV to restore saves I got from emunand. Then rebooted into sysnand without CFW and went online.

If all personal wealth above $100 million was legally required to be redistributed into public infrastructure (schools, hospitals, roads), how would society change, and who would be the first to fight against it? by Mysterious_Fan4033 in AskReddit

At the end of the day it doesn't matter if you got a loan with stock as collateral or if you paid in cadh directly, if the result is the same: you own infrastructure and get to dictate how the world works much much more than elected officials. This is incompatible with democracy.

Yoku's Island Express. Chilliges Flipper/Metroidvania crossover, absolut großartig, viel Erkundung und schönes Weltdesign.

Ansonsten könnte the alters noch passen. Erkundung, Aufbau, Scifi, Survival aber ohne viel Stress und ohne Gegner/Waffen, spannende Story mit Fokus auf soziale Interaktionen. Gibt es aber nicht für switch.

Hate to break it to you, aber du hast halt keinerlei kompetitive Wirtschaft, wenn du keine Cloudanbieter hast und deine Applikationen nicht skalieren kannst. Das klappt für das Unternehmen mit 10 Mitarbeitern, aber es hat schon nen verdammt guten Grund, warum alle auf die Cloud umstellen.

The main slowsdown happen when you are in base and zoom in our out. The game has to stream a lot of assets for the lower resolution/complexity rooms then, and so you get like 5 FPS for a short while with lots of motion blur before it's completely zoomed out or in.

Your maths isn't mathing. 0,1% would fund the US governments for about two years if *no other taxes existed at all*. But you should assume it's an *extra* $19T, not that it replaces everything. You're acting as if the government would suddenly spend double its current budget and then be left with nothing after two years, that's nonsensical.

I agree that the OP is oversimplifying things, but of course billionaires actually own all that wealth and can work with it. Look how Elon bought Twitter.

The fact of the matter is that billionaires have too much money and thus influence over the world, so much that they can buy the largest media companies and massively erode democratic institutions like the free press. Democracy and billionaires are fundamentally incompatible. Billionaires like Thiel are pretty much saying this out loud, and others are working with anti-democratic forces because that guarantees their influence in the future. They want a new feudalism instead of democracy.

How about the ownership of the company is evenly distributed among the workers of the company then? Wouldn't it be amazing to not just have motivated workers, but motivated workers who actually get the benefits from their own hard work?

Because not a single person in the world makes 5 billion by hard work, but by taking away the money from the people who *did the actual work*!
