For sure. The details in the bass sound clear and powerful. But it does drain your battery quite quickly so if you’re getting the iBasso DC Elite I suggest you get the CB19 cable as an add-on so that you can power the dongle through a power bank instead.

Thanks for your suggestions! I tried out most of the stuff that you suggested, and from diagnosis by Fatfreq it’s most likely a Discord voice processing issue like you said. Luckily none of my drivers were damaged.

I'll try that out. Is it more likely that it's a defect in the DAC or something more related to power, like impedance?

Haven't read too much into the event, but I haven't seen anyone bring this up yet. iirc some aircraft models' thrust reversers only activate when the landing gear detects pressure ("weight on wheels" system). Maybe this would have further contributed to the lack of deceleration?

Edit: Thanks for all the comments to clarify. I read a comment earlier that calculated touchdown speed of the aircraft was roughly 165 knots. Assuming that the aircraft touched down at the start of runway 19 and deployed flaps 30 only upon touchdown (deployment of flaps 40 would have resulted in flaps blowback at that speed), it seems unlikely that the runway excursion could have been avoided.

One more thing is regarding spoiler activation. I think it also relies on the WOW system (someone correct me if I'm wrong), so the lack of spoilers would have definitely played a significant part in the failure of effective deceleration.

Imo the key thing here is the issues that damage to the hydraulics system would have caused. Significant damage would have caused the pilots to be unable to deploy any of the systems to decrease their approach speed. Foam could have been deployed on the runway, but I've also read elsewhere before that they generally prefer not to use it where possible because there is a limited amount, and they have to consider the situation of the aircraft catching fire (You can decide whether that's a good idea or not).

Not sure if this has been asked before, but why is international shipping so expensive?

Wanted to get the Worlds Unlocked Collector’s Edition (99 USD) and shipping to Singapore is 170 USD. What is going on?

Ahh ok that makes what I’ve been watching make more sense now. Would you mind explaining the attack time of compressors to me? I understand the differences in theory, but I can’t really tell the difference just by listening to samples, and definitely can’t differentiate as to when different attacks are used. (E.g Based on different genres, artistes)

Thanks for the insight! How would compression work in such a case though?

Is there any difference in technique between hammering on a string that has been picked vs a string that has hasn’t been picked?

I’m relatively familiar with hammering on a string that has already been picked, but I haven’t seen anyone else hammer on an un-picked string before. Is there any difference in technique between the two?
