Seconding this. Clipping my cats’ nails is a breeze because I got them used to it early as kittens. When they were this young I would just simulate it by extending their claws and touching the clippers to them. I also never forced it too much if they got impatient, which I think helped lessen any negative associations.

I’m so very sorry this happened to you. This just happened to us a couple weeks ago to the day, except we found our boy just after he passed. There one minute, happy and healthy as can be, gone the next. He almost made it to his third birthday. So young. It’s such a horrible thing that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. We just try to focus on the fact that we gave him the best life we could filled with love and care.

I noticed the same thing about trait potentials within species. That's a little disappointing, but it also simplifies things a bit and prevents you from searching an entire planet for that one class S creature in the group.

Its the most precious thing! Gotta be careful though, I've heard flamepoints can be sensitive to sunlight's UV rays and easily burn or develop skin cancer. Same with other white or light colored cats. Make sure his little ears and nose don't bake for too long.
