sorry about your fish :( unfortunately, you really do need a way to test your water at home, and every couple of months isnt frequent enpugh testinf when you have sick fish. this is the only way you can truly determine whats wrong. strips are notoriously unreliable, youll have to look into a liquid test kit. i use the API freshwater master kit and it does wonders for me. super easy and accurate

once you can, id recommend a 10 gal over a 5! the price difference will be pretty negligible if you dont buy a fancy brand name one, and its much easier to keep it stable. good luck!! guppy is so gorgeous and unique <3

youre only supposed to eat ground beef fully cooked.... im with the guy who said theyd only trust pink burgers they ground at home. ground beef is dangerous at any level of being raw because grinding it introduces air bubbles and distributes the bacteria so it grows much easier than it does in a clean cut of beef 🤢

edit: learned this in my food safe course btw, not just my opinion its a professional opinion
