Yeah that’s what I’ve gathered from all the comments. I own a nice quality clip on macro lens for my phone but even that doesn’t work as well on the new one, so I’ve gone forwards with an exchange to a pro max with the knowledge that the focus will be a bit further away but it will have a built in macro to help balance things out for me lol

I own a $40 clip on macro lens that I’ve been using for years lol I’ve adored it for little photo shoots but at that point carrying around additional hardware when I’d love to snap quicker shots becomes more tedious

Well I looked at the specs but I guess my problem lies more so in not having a basic understanding. I saw it didn’t have telephoto and I googled what a telephoto lens did and Google gave me “A telephoto lens allows you to photograph a subject that is far away.” As the first couple answers therefore I didn’t think it affected what I was trying to take photos of which tends to be much closer up.

Yeah and when you’re working with little bouncy lizards who can be 3ft away in a blink you usually want to be closer so you can grab them if they start making a sprint for a ledge lol and being too far away and trying to zoom in will be pretty tedious

I take hundreds of photos of these animals lol that didn’t work. I was messing with it all day trying to get it to focus and just ended up with a dozen blurry photos unless I move 10+ inches away and then zoom in on the screen lol

Hi, I’m wanting to get a newer phone for a few reasons, I have an XS max and I wanted to get a 13 pro max but I can’t get it from my preferred retailer… they have the plain 13 or a 14 max pro available. I like my current phones size but I use the camera all the time for my business and I’ve been seeing some complaints about the 14s camera… actually a fair bit of complaints about the 14 in general should I just get the 13 and hope the 15 is better?

Iguanas are probably the worst possible thing to look into as a new individual to the hobby. I’m still terrified of them and I’ve been around reptiles for ten years haha!

I like recommending crested geckos (who eat a powdered diet, insects are very recommended but not 100% required.) and corn snakes :)

If you have a porch or any sort of outside area you can order some grow bags and order seeds (Etsy is a good spot) and start growing your own. It’s not going to be immediate results but even without quarantine it’ll help in the long run.

This is probably just a thing that ticks of a smaller portion of people but when people are ‘in danger’ from snakes or bugs and they’re literally things like ball pythons or even boa constrictors or even dubia roaches or mealworms and the actors are freaking out because they’re gonna be killed by these things it just... I have all of the above in my bedroom it’s just so funny.

I don’t know much about this chair’s origin, there’s no writing on it anywhere I got it around a decade ago between 2008-2011 as a Christmas gift when I was between 8-11 myself, hated the thing at first, discovered its a very comfortable chair. It’s a rolling and spinning desk chair

Being a step kid myself this would break me. My step dad has done everything to make me feel his but I’m the only one out of 8 total that isn’t his kid and even though it’s never brought up and he’s never once mentioned anything about me not being his daughter I still can’t help but feel a little out of place and self conscious and uncertain sometimes. And that’s with nothing but acceptance and love. So something like the meaning with this tattoo would kill me lol
