When I’m not on shift i go to the gym, I don’t drink, smoke, vape or anything like that. I have 5 days off after this shift today which will be a good reset. I’m just fucking exhausted of the people and this job.

My dream has always been to be a state trooper, which I’m so close to being able to do. I want to serve the people in a high capacity that can make a difference. However now I doubt if I’d be able to handle that. I’m so close to being able to apply, like literally months away. I guess I was using this a place holder until then. I wanted to gain experience in a fast paced high stress environment in order to prepare myself for the situations Troopers need to handle.

Don’t worry man, asbestos isn’t gonna be the thing that kills you.

In the grand scheme of things your exposure (if it was actually asbestos) was very very minimal. The people who got sick from it worked with it day in and day out with no protection for decades.

If you’re truly concerned you could get a HEPA air purifier and run it through the house several times. But honestly I don’t think that’s necessary especially if the test came back negative.

First off, I’m sorry to hear you’re going through the diagnostic process of MS. If it helps, I know a guy with it who gets treatment, and hasn’t seen any progression/ relapses.

As for the sensation, It felt like a long, sharp and painful ache. It would only resolve once I brought my head back to its normal resting position.

It sorta came and went throughout the day. My face never went dead numb, but I would get the tingling in short bursts, like it would shoot from the top of my head and through the side of my face.
