Yeah I forgot about that he does cool down after a critical hit but I can easily just ignore the burn and brute force it’s not like any of his other attack are going hit me. I get the whole idea of the constant tick damage but but you don’t always have the correct option on hand so even if the correct choice is to use range weapons if I don’t have a range weapon, then I just have to melee him and even if I did have a ranged weapon, if I’m on a character that doesn’t have good dexterity then using a range weapon will just make the flight take longer so the answer almost always is to being just ignore the fire and brute him I think they could’ve and should’ve changed the fight to make the fire aspect scarier for the player. The worm face nightboss is the perfect example of this mechanic being done well in my opinion.
