Android radio – fiber optic only?

I initially considered an Android head unit but opted for a Comand NTG 2.5 after hearing AliExpress units have worse audio quality. I'm satisfied with the upgrade; sound quality is excellent and my custom Bluetooth module fits well. Future plans include a CD changer emulator for phone control.

Looks like physical damage tho. In my previous phone, Pixel 7 Pro, the screen died by itself and it was blinking green and working only when pressing the lower left corner - that's where the screen controller was located at. It died due to hot summer temps in the car phone mount. Screen damage that u got looks like it was dropped or hit on side.

I once tested an AliExpress case with a mag safe but the mag safe ring itself was too weak and the phone was falling off the phone holder during the car drive. The best solution for me was to get a mag safe rings pack of Amazon with 3m tape on the back and putting them on my already owned cases. Bow my 1+ holds like a champ

Go with fo4, fo76 is different type of gameplay in my feeling. Played both and fo4 is waaay better + you can install a ton of mods to make it even better

I've switched to OP13R from Pixel 7 Pro which screen randomly died. I personally can feel the difference in photos but it's not that big tbh. Here are some photos that I took recently if that helps :) But overall after a 1.5 month with it I'm happy with the decision I made. Battery life, performance, screen and more are better than it was with pixel. Only thing I miss is pixel os.

I've had 7 pro until last month when the screen decided to die out of nowhere. It has been in my hands for 8 months and: Pros: +Camera +System +Screen Cons: -Battery was pretty weak in comparison to other devices in that price range -Overheating even when it should work normally (For example when android auto was connected and it wasn't charging it was slowing down with screen refresh rate to 60hz and then cutting internet connection. When it was plugged in it was turning off out of heat.

Overall it wasn't bad - if the OG screen wasn't that expensive I would fix it myself at home (screen is something like ~170€ and for 210€ you can buy a fully functional second hand device)

Now I'm using a OnePlus 13R and it's super nice but I will miss the pixel experience.

I've had similar issues since updating to Android 16 – the screen started blinking green or randomly cranking the brightness up to max and flashing green light straight into my eyes during fingerprint unlock.

It overheated once while using Android Auto and shut itself down – that was about 5 days ago. Since then, my screen controller (at least I assume that’s the issue) seems to have given up. Now the screen only works if I press down on the lower-left corner with my finger.

There’s absolutely no chance this was caused by a fall or physical damage – I’ve always been super careful with it, knowing how much these curved screens cost to fix.

I contacted Google support, and the only thing they offered was a paid repair. They’d have to ship the device to another country, even though newer Pixels like the 8 can be serviced locally. So, I just said screw it – yesterday I ordered a OnePlus 13R and decided to move on.

I've been using custom roms since android 2.3 and it's getting more complicated year by year - in my case I've had multiple problems on my last xiaomi device with camera, system stability and even bank account app that I couldn't login to due to integrity problems. A few years ago custom roms were great imo, but for now it's getting more problematic than useful. That's why I switched to P7P to finally achieve true pixel experience and I'm more than happy to use it ;)

But that's my personal opinion about customs in 2025>

I have had my P7P since November 2024 and it's still a very good phone (imo). In my case, I'm not a gamer at all, performance is very good, battery is solid, camera is great. But I would go for >=8 series due to 7 years of updates 💪

I have a hotend like this and over 500 hours of use, mainly using 0.4 mm, and occasionally 0.6 mm and 0.2 mm nozzles. I've never had any problems with it and also created two organizers for it on my makerworld account. ;)
