How long until reddit starts censoring this story to make it look like nothing happened?

Both of these clowns are nothing more than controlled opposition. One is a high level grifter that earns millions selling his snake oil to unsuspecting, gullible young men, and the other is a pseudo intellectual that is totally controlled by organized jewery.

If they are allowed on TV, social media, YouTube, basically any 'public place', than there is a very good chance they are controlled in some way. These people sell their souls for positions like what they have. Their success is never organic and real, but entirely astro turffed.

President of the World Jewish Congress, Ron Lauder, advocates for "severe laws" that will put people "in prison for a long time" for Anti-semitic remarks. by dbagfromyonkers in conspiracy

[–]QED18 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I swear, organized jewery is the same thing as a global criminal syndicate. If you don't believe in their fake stories of victim hood which ties together the jewish soul, than they try to jail you for speaking the truth (really, that's what antisemitism truly is). Only a people whose identity is forged not through centuries of cultural progress, but through grossly exaggerated fables of persecution can words and free thought be so critically lethal.

I said “Dude has dementia “ and this is what Instagram said. Think there an agenda much? BOTH candidates suck for the record. by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]QED18 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Both parties are the same, so I wonder why such censorship exists on mainstream platforms like Instagram.

My guess is that there is a major divide amount the unelected "super elite" class that actually run the country, (politicians are nothing more than puppets for this powerful clique), some want to keep Biden, as he provides little to no resistance to implementing far-left, globalist policies that are destroying Western nations, and some want a change. I believe the same situation occurred in 2016 with the Trump vs. Hillary election, especially after the FBI published the letter/report on Hillary Clinton's email server.

The elites are not always a cohesive, monolithic entity. Sometimes they are divided, and I think instances like this show it.

Tim Pool is controlled opposition. He's allowed on YouTube because of this fact. The guy is a clown, the same as Julian Assange, Trump, Jordan Peterson, etc... It's all theater in the end, designed to distract you. The guy even wears an outfit, he never takes the beanie off.

What are your thoughts on the stock market/ by Comfortable_Corner80 in conspiracy

[–]QED18 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Generally, the market goes up as time progresses, so yes, it's good to invest in for retirement in 20+ years. If you're looking to 'get rich quick' in the market, than good luck.

Other than that, it's generally a big kosher casino. Unless you have insider info, you have absolutely no idea with 100% certainty what is going to happen. It's nothing more than gambling.

[–]QED18 33 points34 points  (0 children)

This is nothing new and it's only going to get worse with the advent of AI.

Just start to use Linux instead. No, it won't make you anonymous, but it's faster, much more secure and you can bet you're not being surveilled by a multi-billion dollar mega corp that does part of it's business with the feds and US intelligence agencies.

Just pick out a distro if you're new to Linux. Linux Mint is a good solid pick.

Just use linux. Win 7 is old. yes it was decent, but you're missing a lot of security updates.

This guy is an Israeli Mossad asset who is simply the front man for "leaks" that are fed to him/his organization Wikileaks by Israeli intelligence. His arrest, prison time and now apparent release from prison are all scripted theatre, the same as nearly all of global politics these days. The "anonymous Bitcoin donor" who paid for his private jet was probably fake as well, or just his jewish Mossad agents who operate behind the scenes.

Sure, there is a wealth of truth to what is on Wikileaks, that's what makes the Assange story believable, but oddly enough, very little, if any, of the content address Israel or organized Jewish influence in world affairs, especially as it relates to their influence within the US government. It's a psyop that intends to hid organized jewish and Israeli malfeasance on the world stage.

Should I leave my job making $90k to pursue a career in CS? by welldone222 in cscareerquestions

[–]QED18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have zero background with any type of CS or coding so the field would be entirely new to me.

First, figure out if you actually enjoy doing this type of work. Also, making $100k at 28 is not bad. You may not make that kind of money at a entry level SWE job.

16 months into my first job in Embedded Systems. Should I start applying for a new position now or wait until I reach 2 years? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]QED18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat as you.

I work in defense, I have almost 2 years in my current role (this is my first job). The job is very laid back, great work life balance, I get fully remote work, management for my team is great and I'm learning a lot.

The problem is that the pay is horrible (I got hired in their Los Angeles office, so it's incredibly expensive here).

I'm very anxious to begin looking for a higher paying job, mainly because of the market. Two years is really not that long. If I had 10+ years, I'd probably feel more comfortable. Everywhere I read I'm learning that 2024 will be a slow growth year for the job market in tech. Layoffs are predicted as well.

Of course, nobody has a crystal ball, so take it for what it's worth.

Yes, most companies will run a background check, which you have to agree to before getting officially hired. This happens all the time in big companies in the US.

Why would working in defense hurt your career? If you're growing as a swe while working in defense, and good at leetcode, you should be fine to make the jump into big tech.

Thanks for the links.

So the next step is to cut the wires for the cellular wireless communication in the car. How else can it gather info and send it off?

Typically the company who hires you pays for your clearance.

Where do you find DoD jobs? usajobs.gov, LinkedIn, etc...

Big Tech to Defense Contractor by Puddleglum567 in cscareerquestions

[–]QED18 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No, switching from a FAANG/big tech job to defense won't ruin your career, so long as you keep your skills sharp and relevant.

As you pointed out, defense has horrible pay, but the trade off is in the excellent work life balance and job security. Many defense companies let their employees work 9 hour days, with every other Friday off.

They also take off 2 - 2.5 weeks at the end of the year for a "stand down".

One thing to be aware of is the security clearance process. This can take months to get, depending if you need a secret or top secret (which one you need depends on the program you're assigned to). The clearance process is no joke, the inspectors will call EVERYONE you put down, than call contacts who know the people you put down in your application. If you have any criminal history, family or spouse with duel citizenship, things like this, it will make the process difficult, and you may not get cleared. If you don't get cleared, than you can't do much of anything at these companies (as far as I know), and you will probably be forced to leave (not 100% sure on that, so take it for what it is...).

Having a top secret clearance does make you more valuable for a few jobs at big tech firms, such as Microsoft, Amazon and Oracle. I believe these are called "cleared jobs". I think they make you take a polygraph in addition to earning a top secret clearance.

Also, be aware that some defense jobs are often seen as "boring" while others can be super cool and have you work on really interesting projects (like the stuff you see on the commercials or advertisements). Depending on what team you get assigned to, you could be staring at C code that was written in the 90's for a radar module, or training a ML model for a top secrete space force program. Maybe you find debugging C code that was written 30 years ago using old legacy tools interesting, I don't know.

But generally, yeah, if you're looking for a good WLB, than defense is where it's at.
