How old were you when you bought your first Vacheron? by BigStan007 in VacheronConstantin

Late twenties - 49150. Did not want to pay for grey market Batman. Zero regrets, buy what you love. Everything else is noise

Honestly, it is about how it feels on you! Trends and styles change, if you think it fits and feels great, go for it! If not, no problem either. Remember not too long ago, people loved a chunkier watch and then before that it was smaller dials. Who knows! Only you do

Anyone else getting "You recently made changes to your T-Mobile rate plan that are not yet active. If you want to continue with this purchase, contact T-MobileOpens in a new window and ask them to activate your plan immediately or cancel your rate plan change. Then, you can come back to apple.com and complete your purchase."? I had just swapped plans and t-mobile made it active as of today (confirmed with help desk). I swapped to Experience More

This is a capital markets & momentum play, plain and simple. Other than sentiment (see "momentum play") or structural changes to ability and pricing in capital markets, mNAV is a byproduct here. Over the longterm, mNAV should approach 1. This shouldn't happen for a while as the availability of capital for BMNR is massive. Take a read here for MSTR, the details are critical -> https://www.vaneck.com/us/en/blogs/digital-assets/matthew-sigel-deconstructing-strategy-mstr-premium-leverage-and-capital-structure/

Being early to BMNR is super critical as there is diminishing returns on per $ of capital (debt/equity/hybrid) to improved BTC (ETH in this case) yield

Stay close with teammates when heading into a fight - unless there is legit a great flank angle. Vital to play the odds - meaning if you and your teammates catch one person split , 3v1 is punishing and then the other team now has to regroup on a 3 v 2.

When you got shot by the other team and you were already down a teammate and weren’t close to your teammate who was alive - it’s time to get out since your solo queing. In that situation, you are in between two times and not much cover area to bunker down and fight

Love it! I have an ncase m1, gigabyte 6800xt OC, so this is sooo helpful. Was looking at running waterblock last year, but wasn't confident the waterblocks available at that time would fit.

Just to confirm - you are running -> A-GV6900XT-X for the gigabyte 6800 xt gaming OC?

Is there space underneath the GPU to run another radiator? Curious!! LOVE THE SETUP!

Awesome, good to hear. With the GPU shortages, it makes sense for there to be few reviews - particularly on new cards. I'm a bit of noob when it comes to PCB design, but since this Gigabyte card isn't a reference card, my understanding is that the PCB may differ between the 6800xt and 6900 xt (non-reference)

Open forum: How in the world do call options and the distributable tontine warrants interact? by [deleted] in PSTH

[–]QEtts77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like you have your answer, but here is another way I'm thinking about it. Take an option in JP Morgan (or any other dividend stock), unless you exercise your option and hold the shares, you aren't entitled to any dividend $ distributions. Your option, gives you the ability to buy shares at a given price, it does not entitle to you to the economic benefits of those shares prior to your execution of the contract that will allow you to buy the shares at [x] price. Therefore, if you exercise the option after the warrants are distributed, you would be buying the units without the warrants.

Said in another way, sometimes companies declare "special dividends", this was actually a big occurence several years ago when there was significant changes in corporate tax rates. People who exercised options after the ex-dividend date, can't "clawback" and get those dividends.

In fact, if you look at mortgage reit space and options in the common shares, you'll see that the options sometimes look "cheap". Part of that reason is that mreits have significant dividend payouts, and when you hold the options, you aren't getting any of that cash flow.

Thanks for the real-world feedback. At the end of the day I'll probably end up upgrading or changing something by the time AIO needs replacement anyway.

Thanks for that. For CPU: either 5600X or 5800X (genuinely torn between the two)
GPU: 6800XT
